When I decided I wanted to become a Thunder Bay Wedding Photographer, I knew I needed to build my portfolio. The fun thing about having a business is that I have the ability to just make it happen if it's something I want to do! I reached out to The Landing Gathering Hall, a new Thunder Bay Wedding Venue, and offered to provide them some photos in exchange for using their space. Then, I asked my gorgeous friend who recently got married and luckily had a wedding dress and veil to model. I had a Thunder Bay Wedding Decor Rental Company, Luxy Chair, lend us the beautiful white floral pillars, and finally, Switzer Floral donated a colourful bouquet! I was so grateful to have other wonderful local businesses supporting me. Thunder Bay has an amazing community of wedding vendors. It all came together perfectly and I got some amazing shots for my portfolio! It also sparked the idea of setting up more styled shoots ... maybe soon I'll do a city elopement- style shoot.
